Long Time... No Blog!!

Well it has been a long time since I started my blog last summer! Since August, I have filled my extra time with making wreaths- updating my facebook and etsy page and shopping for ribbon and things to put in my wreaths! So, if you want to check out my work or are in the market to buy a wreath, please go to CS HomeTown Girl in esty.com or CS HomeTown Girl's Wreaths in facebook. If you like what you see, please "like" my page!!

The past week...

I posted a wreath that I had made for my class door on Facebook and it led to someone wanting one for their home, which led to some people seeing my wreath and me making wreaths for about 6 people. I have started selling my wreaths! WOW! I have been having fun!

Where do I store my wreaths?

I get this question frequently and I have turned my closets in my Craft Room into my wreath closet!

I hang them on a hanger and if I have a dry cleaners bag around, I like to cover it! If the wreath will fit in a tub with the other seasonal decorations, I will put it in there and put it out in MY shed!

Everything is stored in plastic tubs and labeled. Then, stacked by holiday/season. Since moving, I am very blessed with space! I didn't have much space in my old house! (well...the attic was full with Christmas)

How to store those purses.....

Aren't purses hard to store? Although, I do not have the same craziness that I had for purses in Jr. High, they still are hard to store.  Since our move, I have a little more storage space (thank you) and since I do laundry daily, I didn't need a laundry basket in the bottom of my closet. So...... I got a purse closet!!! Woo Woo!
My husband put in a dowel rod in a closet rod circle holder thing(?). I painted the rod and holder to match my closet and then I got clear (cheap) shower rings and put a purse on each one!

Here is how it turned out!

The large one was my trial run (so I will just have to keep that for myself for the time being). The smaller one is for my friend, Jennie who is in charge of setting up an auction in October for the Down Syndrome Assoc.

It's hard to tell in pictures (other than one less sunflower), but this is the smaller one!

Can't wait to pull this out again sometime middle to end of September for the Fall!

Oh what to do??

What shall I do with this burlap wreath and chevron/burlap ribbon....

My mom gave me her two cents and this is how it is evolving....

Not done yet..... I will post pictures soon!
