Beach Decorations

After July 4th, I change the mantle and put out a few decorations that resonate "summer!" Even though we are not a "beachy" family, we have been and we LOVE summertime!

For the candles, I just hot glued some shells on the candles.

Last year, I bought white, beach sand on clearance at Pier One. I added the sand into my jars and then added seashells from past trips or some purchased (like seahorses and puffer fish)

This year, I acquired an old wooden cigar box from a 1940's house in the attic. What to do with it?!?!
Well........ I ended up using it for more shells, but then I remembered I have a cool glass bottle, so I added that in too to also go with the little one I placed by the lamp.

This year I bought the sailboat and turquoise vases. They were in an outlet store so "somewhat" cheaper and I just thought they were unique.
